Dr Lou Aurelio has decades of experience in synthetic organic chemistry, analytical instrumentation, and compound elucidation. As CEO of ADKL labs, he provided leadership during the development of the novel therapeutic targets mentioned above. CI Aurelio has a proven track record in strategic planning and support and has helped facilitate technology transfer of intellectual property born out of research, as well as establish new laboratory facilities and corporate offices.

He has helped commercialise and innovative synthesis of non-natural amino acids, along with participating in development of lead candidate optimisation from several Australian Biotech companies including VAST Biosciences, Ena Respiratory and Axelia. CI Aurelio has also conducted large scale synthesis of lead candidates for companies such as Cincera, Ankere and Amplia.
