Dr Pitchumani has decades of experience in synthetic organic chemistry and scale up chemistry at Syngene in India and Curia (formerly AMRI) in Singapore as well as synthesis, isolation, and characterisation of pharmaceutical building blocks at Sanmar Speciality Chemicals in India.

Venkatachalam has extensive experience in analytical instrumentation, and compound elucidation. As a scale up chemist, Venkatachalam has conducted numerous multi-step synthesis including enantioselective transformations (~10 to 15 steps average) undertaken in various scales.
